Over the years, homes have the ability to store items we know we no longer need, but for many reasons we hold onto them. Typically the areas that are meant for ‘storage’ and are used less, tend to have the most buildup. In this instance, it was the clients basement and garage, along with other spaces throughout the house. Over several days, Marianne, Jennifer, Summer and Patty were able to help the client feel at peace in their home again.
Following our same process of sorting, editing and rehoming throughout each space, the client was extremely willing to discard unwanted and unused items. An important goal for us in this process is to have the client feel less overwhelmed once we are done. Therefore during the process, the more that goes away means the more space you will have in your home!
