An artist studio in Harwich needed a significant refresh and organization to clear our client’s mind and space for optimal creativity.
Our client, a repeat customer, is downsizing her home at the end of this year and is actively moving a lot of her art supplies, finished artwork, and books to her studio.
Marianne, Lead Organizer, first started by sorting through the client’s books, separating them by subject matter, and organizing them on the bookshelves. We were mindful that our client had additional books in storage, so we made sure to leave room for those.
The art supplies were organized and put into containers, some the client already owned, and some new containers were purchased. Taking advantage of the vertical space in shelving units is essential, and clear stacking containers with lids make it easy to see the contents at a glance. We used small mason jars and glass cups for paintbrushes and repurposed some items our client already had for organization. Trays keep everything nice and neat.
Our client was so happy with the way her studio came out that she asked us to do her storage unit. Stay tuned!
