As anyone who has ever worked in retail, whether it's their own business or working for a big-box store, you know how quickly things can get out of control in a stockroom, especially during the holidays. Keeping up with the influx of inventory and balancing the sales floor flow while maintaining customer service standards is the perfect storm to a disorganized stock room. All it takes is a busy afternoon to throw everything off balance.
Our client contacted us to get the stockroom in her Mashpee-based home decor store back in shape. The plan included maximizing every square inch of floor space and maintaining safety standards which meant going vertical. New shelving units were installed, and a new floor plan was designed by the Lead Organizer, Cameran.
