Playrooms have been one of the more popular rooms for Team Peace to organize as it makes such a dramatic difference for the entire household. After organizing this client’s kitchen, she was hooked and wanted us back to organize the playroom and create some order in the storage closet.
Organizers Julie and Eryk got right to work and removed everything from the cube storage and linen bins, sorting like with like. Once everything was sorted, they worked side by side the client to get rid of anything they no longer needed.
Eryk getting down to nitty gritty and sorting all of the small pieces that come with every toy. As kids grow older, it is important to remove what is no longer age appropriate to allow room for new toys.
One important goal the client had was to turn this storage closet into a more useful space and allow her to store items away from the children.
Operations Manager, Cameran worked with the client before the session to create the optimal storage option within the closet. Using an 8-unit cube storage, a few pieces of wood and some plastic storage, the space became more functional.
Then, Julie and Eryk filled the closet with bathroom overflow, toy rotation, and misc. items. They even left a space to hang winter coats during the off-season.
