Team Peace lead organizer Peggy and assistant Summer embarked on an exciting journey last weekend with our client in Duxbury. After the recent loss of her husband, she faced the daunting task of decluttering an entire house, basement to attic, plus a garage, plus another smaller home. She works full time and decided to hire Peaceful Place to help her with the physical work of decluttering and organizing the rooms in preparation for painting.
Over the course of 3 days, the team and the client removed a lot of things from the attic and an office/guest room, plus decluttered and organized a linen/backstock closet and the downstairs living room. They used half of the garage to hold the donations and trash generated during the 3 days. The final step for this part of the project was our Team Support Supervisor, Cameran, picking up the items in our van and taking them to the donation center and then the transfer/recycling center. It was huge step forward for the client , who said, “Peggy and Summer were great!! Just perfect! I am SO grateful for their help!!”
